GenerativeX (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Rei Araki) announced that it has raised a total of approximately 650 million JPY in its Series A funding round. This round was conducted through a third-party allotment of shares, with Nissay Capital as the lead investor, joined by Salesforce Ventures, Angel Bridge, DEEPCORE, and SMBC Venture Capital. Since its establishment in June 2023, the company has operated as an FDE (Forward Deployed Engineer) consulting firm, providing end-to-end support for AI agent design, implementation, and organizational transformation for major domestic and international companies in sectors such as finance, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing. Within three years of its founding, the total market capitalization of its client base has exceeded 950 trillion JPY (approx. 6 trillion USD), spanning over 80 companies. While the rapid evolution of generative AI has dramatically improved software development productivity, the transformation of entire business processes remains a work in progress. The company promotes 'End-to-End Business Transformation,' where AI agents go beyond mere development assistance to transform business processes through human-AI collaboration. Future focus areas include AI implementation as a management agenda, promoting FDE in-house capabilities for clients, and AI risk and security. The raised funds will be invested in global business expansion, primarily in the US, strengthening organizational foundations, and executing M&A.
