A Unique Approach to "Modern Chronic Fatigue" That Doesn't Disappear Even with Rest
Due to the spread of remote work and excessive use of digital devices, many modern people suffer from chronic ailments such as "feeling sleepy during the day despite getting enough sleep," "always feeling sluggish," and "never feeling rested." This book features Tetsuo Nakanishi, who has long coached top athletes like Yuto Nagatomo and Takefusa Kubo of the Japan national soccer team. He improves physical condition through various daily habits and mindful practices related to diet, sleep, breathing, posture, gut health, brain function, tongue position, the calendar, the moon, and even shrines – all without special training or strict dietary restrictions. The methods, which significantly improve mind-body balance by making small changes to daily routines, have been systematized for the general public.
"55 Habits" You Can Start Today with Zero Equipment
The "Nakanishi Method" introduced in this book requires no special time or equipment. It contains 55 specific techniques to transform unconscious daily actions into "conscious conditioning" during commutes, work, or upon waking.
[Examples of Habits Featured]
- Fold your futon immediately after waking up (to switch between on and off states). - Keep the distance between your solar plexus and navel constant (to deepen breathing with correct posture). - Take the first step with the opposite foot from usual at traffic lights or on stairs (to eliminate body asymmetry). - Bend your little finger along the heart line and tuck your elbows in (to release unnecessary tension in the upper body).
The book also includes explanations with illustrations based on the author's deep insights, such as "Why Shohei Ohtani picks up trash?" and "The reason Horyuji's five-story pagoda has stood for about 1400 years."
The content is designed for everyone, from business people to homemakers and seniors, to enjoy and practice.
