【Profile】

Da-iCE is a five-member male artist group known for their impressive four-octave twin vocals. The members are vocalists Yudai Ono and Shotaro Hanamura, and performers Daiki Kudo, Tetsu Iwaoka, and So Wada. Formed on January 17, 2011, they began performing at small clubs in Shibuya, holding over 100 live shows per year. They made their major debut in January 2014 and moved their label to avex trax in August 2020. Their 2020 single "CITRUS," the theme song for Nippon TV's Sunday drama "The Legendary Hero Lives! (Gokujo-Do)," surpassed 100 million streams on subscription platforms—making them the first Japanese male dance-and-vocal group to achieve this—and earned them the "Japan Record Award" at the 63rd Japan Record Awards in 2021. In 2022, "Starmine" won the "MTV Breakthrough Song" award at MTV's "Video Music Awards Japan 2022," and the group also received the "Excellent Work Award" at the 64th Japan Record Awards. With their 2024 release "I wonder," they won the "Excellent Work Award" at the 66th Japan Record Awards and made their debut appearance at the "75th NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen 2024."
