G.I.B Co., Ltd. (Nagoya, Japan) held a disaster prevention drill on May 23, 2026, at its "Blue Sky Laundry Mam Imaizumi" location in Fuji City. The exercise involved members of the Chanokidaira Neighborhood Association practicing the operation of emergency-responsive equipment to enhance local disaster awareness.

Since signing a formal disaster agreement in November 2022, G.I.B and the association have conducted seven collaborative drills. This location is the 18th nationwide to implement such community-linked disaster preparedness activities.

As of May 2026, Blue Sky Laundry operates 293 stores across Japan. These facilities function as "Phase-free" infrastructure—serving as daily laundry hubs that convert into temporary shelters during emergencies. Key features include LP gas systems for power generation and outdoor cooking, alongside portable generators and large-scale cauldrons for community support. G.I.B continues to expand its mission of creating social value through both laundry services and energy-saving solutions like "GI Breaker."
