Giftee, a company operating e-gift platform businesses, announced its selection for 16 new projects across 14 municipalities utilizing the 'Priority Support Local Revitalization Grant,' which was expanded under the Cabinet Office's FY2025 supplementary budget to address rising prices. The municipalities include Kitahiroshima City (Hokkaido), Katagami City (Akita), Sukagawa City (Fukushima), Tsuchiura City (Ibaraki), Joso City (Ibaraki), Kazo City (Saitama), Narita City (Chiba), Sumida Ward (Tokyo), Miyoshi City (Aichi), Takatsuki City (Osaka), Shunan City (Yamaguchi), Iizuka City (Fukuoka), Kunigami Village (Okinawa), and Fukushima Prefecture. Giftee will provide its municipal problem-solving platform 'e-machi Platform®' and its corporate/municipal digital gift service 'giftee for Business.' As of May 12, 2026, Giftee's services have been adopted in a total of 28 projects across 26 municipalities under this grant scheme.

This grant was established by the Cabinet Office to enable local governments to implement necessary measures based on regional circumstances for residents and businesses affected by rising energy and food prices. Eligible projects include economic burden relief for low-income or child-rearing households and subsidies for energy-efficient appliances. The government allocated a total of 2 trillion yen for this grant in the FY2025 supplementary budget, with municipalities rapidly moving forward with implementations.
