Gigi, Inc. announced that it will waive the initial fee (usually 50,000 yen excluding tax) for its employee benefit service 'Shashoku Gochimeshi,' which allows employees to use local restaurants as company cafeterias, for two months from June 1 to July 31, 2026. As of April 1, 2026, the tax-free limit for meal subsidies was raised from 3,500 yen to 7,500 yen per month. With the tax-free allowance for employees more than doubling, interest in adopting such services has surged. In fact, inquiries for 'Shashoku Gochimeshi' increased by 170% compared to the previous month following the tax reform. Gigi is launching this campaign to support companies looking to implement the service.
