Fujitsu announced a strategic partnership with Anthropic PBC (hereinafter 'Anthropic') on May 27, 2026. Through this collaboration, Fujitsu will become a strategic partner of Anthropic, combining Anthropic's advanced AI technology with Fujitsu's long-standing industry knowledge, business expertise, and mission-critical system construction and operation capabilities. This move is intended to accelerate the digital transformation of Japanese companies while enhancing the security and reliability of critical infrastructure and social foundations.

Fujitsu will first comprehensively utilize Anthropic's AI, including 'Claude,' internally to accumulate and expand know-how, thereby promoting AI transformation within Japanese companies and society. Recognizing its responsibility as a company deeply involved in critical infrastructure in Japan and globally, Fujitsu will also strengthen security for the AI era. Through this partnership, Fujitsu will gain early access to Anthropic's latest AI models and provide more advanced and practical AI-driven solutions to its customers.

Fujitsu also possesses proprietary AI technologies, such as the AI platform 'Fujitsu Kozuchi' and the large language model 'Takane.' By controlling optimal AI selection, design, and integration based on customer requirements regarding data sovereignty, regulatory compliance, security, and performance, Fujitsu delivers solutions that can be used with peace of mind. Drawing on practical FDE knowledge gained through strategic partnerships with advanced technology partners like Palantir Technologies Inc., Fujitsu delivers rapid AI solution design, implementation, and adoption. By integrating 'Claude' into this model, Fujitsu will realize AI applications that are directly tied to business value, based on close customer collaboration and industry-specific insights.

2. Evolution of Cybersecurity To enhance cyber defense in the AI era, Fujitsu will promote improvements in cyber defenses for enterprises, critical infrastructure, and essential services.
