The Fujitsu Group has been selected as a 'Supplier Engagement Leader' in the 2025 Supplier Engagement Rating conducted by CDP, in recognition of its efforts regarding greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and climate change strategies with its suppliers. The CDP Supplier Engagement Rating evaluates how effectively companies work with their suppliers on climate change issues, assessing performance across four categories: governance, targets, Scope 3 emissions, and value chain engagement. Fujitsu Group has also been named to the A-list in CDP's 'Climate Change' survey a total of eight times.

The group formulated its environmental vision in 2017 and, in June 2023, set a goal to achieve net-zero GHG emissions across its entire value chain by fiscal 2040, receiving net-zero certification from the SBTi. Fujitsu promotes decarbonization throughout its supply chain by requesting CO2 reduction activities from major suppliers and providing tools for visualizing emissions. Additionally, as a member of the WBCSD's PACT, the group is working on inter-company data linkage for product carbon footprints, which has been highly recognized as a global best practice.
