Global X Japan Co., Ltd. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Tomoo Fujioka, hereinafter "the Company"), a member of the Daiwa Securities Group, is pleased to announce that the net assets of the "Global X Japan Semiconductor ETF" (Ticker: 2644, hereinafter "the ETF"), which the Company establishes and manages, have surpassed 100 billion yen. As of July 3, 2026, the ETF's balance stands at 108.8 billion yen.
The ETF invests in semiconductor-related businesses, including semiconductor manufacturing equipment, in which Japan has strengths. Driven by the growing demand for AI and data centers, the semiconductor market continues its mid-to-long-term growth, and Japanese companies play a crucial role in the supply chain. Semiconductors are attracting attention as a growth investment theme in Japanese stocks, and the ETF is utilized as an investment tool to capture the growth of Japanese semiconductor-related companies.
As a result, with broad support primarily from individual investors, the net assets have now surpassed 100 billion yen, making this the third ETF managed by the Company to exceed 100 billion yen in net assets.
