GMO Aozora Net Bank, Ltd. has achieved profitability in the fiscal year ending March 2026, following its 'Second Founding' strategy focused on corporate clients. Building on this foundation, the bank announced a new strategy for 2026 and beyond, aiming for simultaneous AI agent integration in three areas: 'AI Bank for Customers,' 'AI Transformation of the Bank itself,' and 'AI Bank for AI.' This is a world-first initiative for a commercial bank. For customers, it will provide personalized banking experiences. Internally, it plans to complete an 'AI Transformation (AX)' by fiscal 2028, replacing 2,800 tasks with 1,100 AI agents. Additionally, it will build 'Agentic APIs' by March 2027, allowing AI systems to autonomously select and execute financial functions.
