From Old Clothes to Automotive Insulation: Seahorses Mikawa's Clothing Recycling Report for a Waste-Free Future

Seahorses Mikawa recently conducted a clothing collection drive during the game against the Koshigaya Alphas on Saturday, May 2, with the support of Suzu-roku Co., Ltd., as part of our SDGs promotion activities.

Thank you very much for your cooperation in the collection activities at the venue.

A portion of the collected children's clothing will be donated to the Okazaki City Welfare Consultation Division.

Reuse and Recycling Activities After Collection The clothing collected from everyone is sorted by Suzu-roku Co., Ltd. into items that can still be worn for reuse, and items that are difficult to wear for recycling.

Clothing that is difficult to wear becomes raw material for industrial wiping rags (uesu) and felt.

Recycled felt is widely used for automotive sound insulation materials.
