As part of our 'Ookinawa' community outreach efforts, Gordie conducted visits and exchanges throughout May in our hometown of Okinawa City, as well as Naha City and Uruma City, visiting various primary and junior high schools and local events. Thank you to everyone who supported these activities.

During these visits, Gordie participated as a 'One-Day Civil Welfare Commissioner' at the 'Day of Civil Welfare and Child Welfare Commissioners' opening ceremony held at Okinawa City Hall, alongside Okinawa City's mascot, Aibou. Furthermore, we deepened interactions with children and local residents through school visits and traffic safety workshops.

During school visits, Gordie joined students in ball games and music assemblies, exercising together, and even conducting the school song, creating enjoyable moments of interaction. In addition, at the traffic safety workshop, we collaborated with the Uruma Police Station to teach students how to safely cross pedestrian crossings, focusing on traffic safety awareness.

All of us at the Okinawa Basketball Corporation Group will continue to cherish our interactions with the local community and persist in activities rooted in Okinawa.

Visit Schedule - May 12 (Tue): 'Day of Civil Welfare and Child Welfare Commissioners' Opening Ceremony (Okinawa City) - May 20 (Wed): Shuri Junior High School 'SHURINPIC' (Naha City) - May 28 (Thu): Takahara Elementary School Music Assembly (Okinawa City) - May 29 (Fri): Tengan Kindergarten Traffic Safety Workshop (Uruma City)
