After joining the Kings on loan, Taira earned his contract through his own efforts and fought as a vital member of the team. Armed with speed-driven attacks and spirited defense, he performed boldly on major stages such as the Emperor's Cup and the Championships, contributing significantly to the team. Although his time with the Kings was not long, we are truly grateful for his total dedication to the team and the many impressive plays he left behind. We sincerely thank him for his contributions and wish him great success in his next stage.

Hello everyone! This is Taira. Thank you so much for these two seasons, including the loan period. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to come to the Kings and play at the Okinawa Arena. I feel truly blessed to have been brought to Okinawa from the B3 league, to play on the stage I dreamed of, and to be surrounded by such wonderful coaches, staff, teammates, and fans while doing the basketball I love. Competing against international teams in the EASL, winning the Emperor's Cup, and making two Finals appearances were all immense experiences that will be great assets for the rest of my life. Although I wasn't born here, I am truly thankful for the chance to return to this land with which I have a special connection. I will continue to take on challenges with energy, so please keep supporting me! Let's go!
