Nagasaki Prefecture's First Stay-and-Experience Winery to Open: Goto Winery to Launch New Facility in Spring 2027

Goto Winery Co., Ltd. (Head office: Goto City, Nagasaki Prefecture) is pleased to announce that it plans to open a new facility integrating a wine brewery, restaurant, and shop in April 2027 (Reiwa 9).

This facility will be Nagasaki Prefecture's first "stay-and-experience winery," aiming to become a new tourism hub that, in cooperation with existing accommodation facilities, allows visitors to integrally experience Goto's nature, food, and wine.

【Features of the Facility】

〇 Restaurant where you can "dine while watching brewing"

Designed so guests can enjoy dishes made with Goto ingredients and wine while observing the wine brewing process through large glass windows.

〇 Open terrace overlooking Mt. Onidake

A location offering a panoramic view of Mt. Onidake, a symbol of Goto.

Terrace seating where pets are allowed will also be provided.

〇 Integration of wine purchase, experience, and stay

Integrating wine production, sales, dining, and accommodation, the facility will be developed as a "place that creates reasons to visit." 〇 Sustainable model utilizing local resources

Contributes to the regional economic cycle and agricultural promotion by utilizing Goto-produced grapes and encouraging tourists to stay longer.

【Development Background】

While the Goto Islands attract over 200,000 tourists annually, the lack of "stay-type content" has been identified as an issue.

In addition to its existing wine production and sales, Goto Winery aims to create new value centered on "experience and stay," thereby simultaneously achieving:

・Revitalization of regional agriculture

・Extension of tourists' length of stay

・Establishment of stable business revenue

Prior to the opening, information dissemination and reservation acceptance are scheduled to begin sequentially from 2026.
