"The Sonic Circus" Returns to Japan — The Original Version's Final Run! Ultimate Live Entertainment "blast!" to Be Held

The final Japanese performance of the original version of the "blast!" series, which has visited Japan 13 times and attracted over 1.4 million people across 928 performances, will be held at Tokyu Theatre Orb from Tuesday, August 4, 2026, to Sunday, August 16, 2026. Tickets are now on sale via the event platform "TIGET".

"blast!" is a live entertainment experience that fuses performances by brass musicians, percussionists, and visual ensembles (dancers and color guard). Renowned for its virtuosic playing, dynamic formations, and vibrant visuals, the show has captivated audiences worldwide.

With over 60 types of instruments creating powerful musical performances, combined with the dazzling visual ensemble routines featuring flags, rifles, and sabers, the stage becomes a true "sonic circus." Celebrating its 25th anniversary since its Broadway debut and a double winner of Tony and Emmy Awards, the series has toured Japan 13 times, totaling 928 performances and over 1.4 million attendees. This Japanese run marks the final performance of the original version—the show's roots.

Additionally, premium performances commemorating the 950th total performance in Japan will be held on August 13 (Thu), 14 (Fri), and 15 (Sat). Special programs including cast talk shows and commemorative sticker giveaways for all attendees are planned.
