Today, on the eve of World Environment Day, Kering marks the 10th anniversary of its 'Crafting Tomorrow’s Luxury' strategy by releasing its Impact Report summarizing initiatives from 2016 to 2025. This report serves as a summation of the reports published periodically over the last decade.
The report details the rationale behind the strategies and dedicated programs formulated by Kering. It highlights key efforts at both group and brand levels, demonstrating measurable results achieved against science-based targets. Kering has continuously reviewed and improved its approach in line with the latest scientific knowledge, evolving priorities, regulatory shifts, rising stakeholder expectations, and international goals.
Kering CEO François-Henri Pinault stated, 'From the beginning, Kering has approached sustainability as a pioneer, pushing the boundaries of traditional efforts. We are proud of the tangible progress achieved as a group over these ten years and the broader impact we have brought to the worlds of luxury and fashion through industry collaborations.'
Marie-Claire Daveu, Chief Sustainability and Institutional Affairs Officer at Kering, added, 'The significant progress we have made toward our environmental and social goals over the past decade is due to putting sustainability at the core of the group.'
