Hacosta Co., Ltd. and uniicreative Co., Ltd. hosted 'acosta!', one of Japan's largest cosplay events, at the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park in Taipei, Taiwan, on May 16-17, 2026. The event saw an attendance of 20,000 cosplayers and photographers, solidifying its position as a hub for cosplay culture in Taiwan following an earlier event in Kaohsiung in April 2026.

The venue featured expanded photography areas, allowing participants to enjoy the lush gardens and retro architecture. Key highlights included a parade of about 40 cosplayers and stage programs such as 'CDEF' and 'acosta! Dance Time.' On May 17, Japanese guest Akari Akase performed five songs in cosplay as Marin Kitagawa from 'My Dress-Up Darling.' A collaborative stage with TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL (TIF) featured three Japanese and six Taiwanese idol groups in a five-hour live concert.

The 'acosta! Marche,' a dedicated doujin market for cosplay, featured 71 exhibitors (46 from Japan, 25 from Taiwan). Popular cosplayer Moe Iori held signing and photo sessions at her booth, drawing massive crowds. Following the success in Taipei, Hacosta announced that the event's first South Korean iteration will take place in Seoul on June 27-28, 2026.
