Haier Japan Sales Co., Ltd. concluded a comprehensive partnership agreement concerning regional revitalization and business promotion with Takikawa City, Hokkaido, and Sorapuchi Kids Camp on June 11, 2026.

About the Partnership Agreement

Haier Japan Sales and Takikawa City have entered into this agreement to strengthen cooperation in areas such as welfare, the environment, disaster prevention, and community development. The aim is to promote Takikawa's local revitalization, foster regional development, and ensure rapid and smooth supply of relief goods in times of disaster. The company will donate the "MIZUKI (JC-M1A)" suction floor cleaner and "MIZUKI nu-no (JC-RPS1A)" fabric washer to Takikawa City. These will be utilized in kindergartens, nurseries, child development support centers, and local child-rearing support centers to improve facility hygiene and streamline cleaning operations. This initiative will provide children with a more hygienic and secure environment while reducing the workload on facility staff.

Simultaneously, Haier has signed a partnership agreement with Sorapuchi Kids Camp, aimed at streamlining facility operations and improving environmental hygiene to create a safer and more comfortable space for children with intractable diseases and their families. Haier will donate various appliances to Sorapuchi Kids Camp, including the MIZUKI (JC-M1A) floor cleaner, MIZUKI nu-no (JC-RPS1A) fabric washer, a 40L refrigerator (JR-N40M), a 14.0kg fully automatic washing machine (JW-GD140A), and a floor-standing spot air conditioner (JA-SPH26C). These products will support the operation of Asia’s only camp facility with medical care for children with intractable diseases.

Going forward, the company plans to engage in product development based on real-world feedback obtained through field testing of these appliances in the aforementioned facilities.

About the MIZUKI Suction Floor Cleaner (JC-M1A)

Developed in response to customer needs regarding floor cleaning—such as wanting to clean sticky or gritty surfaces, oil stains, sand, and pollen without the physical burden of traditional mopping—this stick cleaner features "Multi-Powerful Suction," which allows users to vacuum, wet mop, and dry mop simultaneously. The product was co-developed with Ms. Haruko Niitsu, who is associated with Japan Airport Terminal Co., Ltd. Drawing on her expertise as a cleaning professional at Haneda Airport, renowned as the "world's cleanest airport," the MIZUKI cleaner removes fine dust and hardened dirt. It is a highly acclaimed product that won the "16th Parenting Award" in the Mono/Service category.

About the MIZUKI nu-no Hot Water Steam Fabric Washer (JC-RPS1A)

As the second product in the MIZUKI series, this fabric washer is designed to clean non-washable fabrics with water. Developed under the concept of "Let's wash more fabric," it serves as a new type of rinse cleaner that makes it easy to care for items that are difficult to clean, such as sofas, car seats, carpets, and strollers. The device sprays water from a nozzle to loosen dirt, which is then brushed out and sucked up with a maximum power of 15,000Pa, thoroughly cleaning fabrics from the surface to the deep fibers.

The hot water steam model (JC-RPS1A) features a 60°C hot water mode to dissolve oil-based stains and a 100°C steam mode for deep cleaning.
