Launch of 'DotHealth Body Measurement Service' at Nakanoshima Cross (Osaka)

The PHR Connect Consortium, composed of Hakuhodo Inc., BIPROGY Inc., and West Japan Railway Company (JR West), with the cooperation of the Foundation for Biomedical Research and Innovation at Kobe (FBRI), has installed 'Body Measurement Pods' at Nakanoshima Cross and launched the 'DotHealth Body Measurement Service' in May 2026. Nakanoshima Cross is an advanced industrial hub for future medicine where medical institutions, companies, startups, and support organizations gather under one roof. By providing this service at Nakanoshima Cross, the consortium aims to utilize real-world touchpoints with consumers and measurement data to facilitate research, product development, health promotion initiatives, and service co-creation with businesses. [Background] As initiatives toward the social implementation and industrialization of future medicine accelerate following the Osaka-Kansai Expo, there is a demand for continuous value creation. In response, the Osaka Prefectural Government and the future medical promotion organization have relocated parts of the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion exhibits to Nakanoshima Cross, establishing them as a permanent legacy of the Expo. The PHR Connect Consortium installed the pods as part of an effort to explore new possibilities in future medicine. [Service Overview] The 'DotHealth Body Measurement Service' allows users to comprehensively grasp measurement results for the brain, cardiovascular system, hair, musculoskeletal system, skin, and teeth, supporting users in feeling closer to their own health and leading to daily behavioral changes. Locations (as of May 28, 2026): Osaka Area (JR Osaka Station, JR Tennoji Station, JR Kishibe Station, Nakanoshima Cross); Tokyo Area (Nihonbashi Muromachi Mitsui Tower). Measurement items: Approximately 50 types across 6 categories plus body measurement age. Fees: 1,200 JPY (excl. tax) for 2 months, 3,000 JPY (excl. tax) for 6 months (unlimited usage). [Future Outlook] The consortium aims to create new businesses through interactions with medical and healthcare providers, triggered by the installation of the pods at Nakanoshima Cross.
