[Handball] The 49th National High School Handball Invitational Tournament [Day 4 Results] The Best 4 Teams Have Been Decided

Today, on Friday, March 27, 2026, the 4th day of competition for the "49th National High School Handball Invitational Tournament" was held, with 4 quarterfinal matches each for men and women.

The Best 4 teams, who will advance to the semifinals, have been decided.

In the men's division, Kanto Daiichi High School (Tokyo) showed a strong fight, coming close to the Best 4 after their first-ever appearance in the Best 8. However, Konan High School (Okinawa Prefecture) made a comeback in the final stages to secure their spot in the semifinals.

In the women's division, Kobe Seijo High School (Hyogo Prefecture) defeated Kagawa Prefectural Takamatsu Commercial High School (Kagawa Prefecture), last year's runner-up. Additionally, Kumamoto Municipal Chiharadai High School (Kumamoto Prefecture) overcame Shiroumegakuen High School (Tokyo), the Inter-High runner-up. These matches between established schools highlighted their competitive strength.
