We are pleased to announce the results of the final day of the "21st Spring National Junior High School Handball Championship Tournament," which opened on Thursday, March 26, 2026, in Himi City, Toyama Prefecture, and concluded on Sunday, March 29.

The final day of the tournament (4th day) featured the semi-finals and finals for both men's and women's divisions.

In the men's division, Ryukyu Corazon U-15 (Okinawa), who overcame Kyushu rivals Aira Sports Club (Kagoshima), and GHR (Gunma), who defeated HC Kyoto (Kyoto), advanced to the final.

The final match, where both teams vied for their first championship, saw GHR seize the momentum from the start, taking a commanding 19-3 lead in the first half alone. Leveraging that lead, GHR proceeded with the game at ease in the second half, clinching their first championship.

In the women's division, Tsurugi Junior High School (Kumamoto), who pulled away from Kawasaki Ikuta AND VAL (Kanagawa) in the second half, and HC Kyoto (Kyoto), who won an overtime match against HC Haruyoshi Jr. (Fukuoka), advanced to the final.

In the final, Tsurugi Junior High School utilized their characteristic mobility and fast breaks from defense to gain an advantage from the early stages. They did not give HC Kyoto any chance to catch up in the second half, winning decisively 41-23. Tsurugi Junior High School achieved their second consecutive championship (second overall).
