Hankyu Umeda Main Store will hold the summer experiential campaign "HANKYU Kodomo College" from Wednesday, July 22 to Tuesday, August 11 (Holiday) as part of its sustainability initiatives for children's futures. With a proven track record, including past awards from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and based on the concept of "play, learn, and experience," this year features approximately 270 sessions, the largest scale ever. Popular attractions include the "Kids Store Manager" and recording the opening broadcast experience, offering learning opportunities unique to a department store. Beyond just acquiring knowledge, this event aims to provide children with the most enjoyable summer vacation memories through special experiences at Hankyu Umeda Main Store, leaving a lasting impression and serving as a foundation for their future growth.

Become a Kids Store Manager at 38 Popular Basement Food Brands! Location: B1F & B2F Food Floors
From Japanese and Western sweets to fresh foods, events will be held at 38 brands including "Moncher," "Gran Calbee," "Andersen," and "Kyotsukemono Nishiri," where children can experience being a Kids Store Manager. They will learn about the series of tasks on the food floor, such as offering samples, calling out to customers, packaging products, and handing them over.

GREEN AGE Summer Festival

Experiences are offered to feel the ocean, global environment, and upcycling firsthand through drawing on coral seedlings and making photo frames with seashells. Location: 7F Koto Koto Stage 71 Through various experiences such as "First Tea Ceremony Experience" by a tea master, incense making, and tatami mat making, participants can learn the spirit of consideration for others and beautiful manners in a fun way. They will also be introduced to the "tea box," a compact set of a tea bowl and whisk that can be carried anywhere, and the joy of collecting favorite items to create one's own tea box will be proposed. This is a two-week event where you can learn the spirit of Japanese hospitality through the exciting experience of delivering the "beautiful gestures" you've learned to the world with your favorite tea box as your companion.

This NPO festival connects local communities with NPOs (non-profit organizations) working for child support, expanding the circle of charity. In the center of the venue, a 7m diameter dome-shaped planetarium by the NPO "Hoshi Tsumugi no Mura" (Star Weaving Village) will appear, where visitors can observe and learn about the starry sky. Through experiences like walking with an eye mask and white cane, NPO quizzes, and daily interview events, it provides an opportunity to learn about NPO activities and charity in a fun way. *H2O Santa is a social contribution organization that supports children, part of the H2O Retailing Group, which includes Hankyu and Hanshin Department Stores.

As a special program of "HANKYU Kodomo College," which nurtures children's futures, a "Concourse Window Collaborative Creation Project" in collaboration with contemporary pop artist Romero Britto will be held. A total of approximately 90 children have created parts of the giant window decoration with their own hands.
