Parking Discounts via Transit IC Cards: Park & Ride Introduced at Momoyamadai Station

Kita-Osaka Kyuko Railway Co., Ltd. will launch a 'Transit IC Park & Ride Service' on June 1, 2026 (Monday) at Momoyamadai Station. Customers using transit IC cards such as 'PiTaPa,' 'ICOCA,' and 'Suica' will receive discounts on parking fees at the 'Azale Momoyamadai' commercial facility. This service, implemented in partnership with Times 24 Co., Ltd., aims to promote the use of public transportation starting from Momoyamadai Station, thereby expecting to alleviate traffic congestion and reduce CO2 emissions. When paying for parking, customers can touch the transit IC card used for disembarking at Momoyamadai Station that day to the payment machine, and a 100-yen discount will be automatically applied to the rooftop parking fee based on the rail usage history recorded on the card.
