Based on the Hanshin Group’s brand value management and the long-term management vision of Hankyu Hanshin Holdings (announced March 27, 2025), the company is actively investing to enhance safety, comfort, and contribution to the environment and society.

The company plans to commence operation of platform screen doors at four stations and introduce the new 3000 series express train within this fiscal year, aiming to establish a robust safety foundation and further improve service levels.

Overview of the 2026 Capital Investment Plan: 1. Establishing a Robust Safety Foundation: - Installation of platform screen doors, renovation of the Hanshin Namba Line Yodogawa Bridge, and track improvements. - Seismic reinforcement of viaducts, updating of the PTC (Train Traffic Management) system, and seismic retrofitting of the PTC center building. 2. Further Improvement of Service Standards: - Introduction of new express train cars, launch of a reserved seating service, improvement work at Noda Station, and enhancement of the Hanshin App functions. 3. Contribution to the Environment and Society: - Promotion of renewable energy usage and installation of energy-saving equipment.

Stations scheduled for platform screen door commencement in 2026: Fukushima Station, Yodogawa Station, Himejima Station, and Nishinomiya Station (platforms 1 and 4).

New 3000 series express train: Scheduled for introduction in spring 2027. Reduces power consumption by approximately 60% compared to the 8000 series. Features the “Re Vermilion” color, inheriting the image of the traditional “Akado-sha” express cars.
