The release formats include a Blu-ray + DVD Set, a Blu-ray + DVD Set with a Complete Case (limited quantity) capable of housing the previous "Zootopia Blu-ray + DVD Set" together in a single box, a 4K UHD + Blu-ray Set, and a standalone DVD. *Digital distribution is also currently available (purchase/rental).
To commemorate this release, a thrilling yet comical "deleted scene" from the bonus content has been partially unveiled, featuring Nick and Judy acting as a "married couple" conducting an undercover investigation at an airport!
This footage depicts a deleted undercover investigation scene of Nick and Judy that was produced during the initial conceptual phase. Unlike the actual main feature, the setting is an airport. In order to pursue smugglers, Nick and Judy disguise themselves as a "married couple" to infiltrate. Judy, pushing a baby stroller, approaches the smugglers while mixing in jokes. Nick then makes an appearance as a partner who gently cares for Judy. When handed a luxury watch by a smuggler, Nick attempts to unnerve them by saying, "There are a lot of fakes going around lately," while Judy follows up with, "Smuggling is quite a serious felony, you know," gradually cornering their targets. It is a precious piece of footage where viewers can enjoy the brilliant undercover partnership (!?) of Nick and Judy!
The Blu-ray and digital release (purchase) available today include not only the "Deleted Scenes" featuring the newly unveiled footage, but also a wealth of luxurious bonus content that fans cannot miss! These include "The Making of the Film" tracing the story's development, "The Best Voice Actors" showing the recording sessions with the gorgeous original cast, "How to Draw Nibbles" unraveling the creation of the highly popular new character Nibbles, "Fun Trivia" touching upon hidden characters within the main feature, and "A 'Wilde' Recording Session" getting up close with the original cast as they enthusiastically tackle their dubbing roles!
Please enjoy "Zootopia 2"—packed with "fluffy yet deep" emotions and thrills—via the Blu-ray + DVD Set, Blu-ray + DVD Set with Complete Case (limited quantity), 4K UHD + Blu-ray Set, DVD, or digital distribution (purchase/rental).
Beyond the "Best Buddies". Judy and Nick's Partnership Put to the Test
Judy and Nick, who uncovered Assistant Mayor Bellwether's conspiracy and saved Zootopia from crisis in the previous film "Zootopia". The story of this sequel, "Zootopia 2", begins immediately after those events. Although the two have officially teamed up as police officers, they realize that they actually do not yet deeply understand each other. During an undercover investigation pursuing a smuggling case, they engage in a flashy car chase with a getaway van driven by an anteater, but the operation ends in failure. Based on Chief Bogo's decision, the two are mandated to undergo "partner therapy" led by a Quokka therapist, Dr. Fuzzby. Director Jared Bush commented, "This movie depicts the process of discovering new facets of one's partner." In this work, alongside solving cases, the film portrays the pair facing their own inner selves and values, further deepening their relationship from "best buddies".

Special Interview with Toshiyuki Morikawa, the Voice of Nick Wilde!
We had Toshiyuki Morikawa share his passionate thoughts on "Zootopia 2", covering his state of mind reprising the role of Nick after about 9 years since the previous film, his favorite scenes, and the relationship between Nick and Judy!
- Q. Please tell us how you felt when you stepped in front of the mic again for the dubbing recording of "Zootopia 2". - A. Emotionally, I was very happy. I was filled with the joy of finally being able to play Nick again... It's been about 9 years since the previous film, but the setting of the story itself is only a few days after the first movie. So, while I myself have aged nearly 10 years, I had to perform the character as if it were only "a few days later," which was (a bit difficult).
