Rish Plus Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture; President and CEO: Tsuyoshi Tomi), which operates 52 beauty hair removal and skin care salons nationwide through its group company RinRin Co., Ltd., and engages in the planning, manufacturing, and sales of beauty devices and cosmetics, has entered into a business alliance agreement with Japan Holiday Travel Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Osaka, Osaka Prefecture; President and CEO: Tatsuya Nakamori), a company operating inbound tourism services. This partnership will strongly support the rapidly expanding market for beauty esthetic salons catering to international visitors.
Background and Purpose of the Business Alliance
The inbound tourism market to Japan is experiencing record growth. In 2025, the number of inbound visitors reached a historic high of approximately 42.68 million, with travel spending totaling around 9.5 trillion yen. To further expand the market, the Japan National Tourism Organization has set a target of attracting 60 million visitors and generating 15 trillion yen in spending by 2030. According to Hot Pepper Beauty, the market for beauty esthetic salons serving inbound tourists is projected to grow from 7.7 billion yen in 2024 to 15.5 billion yen by 2030—more than doubling. Leveraging Japan Holiday Travel’s expertise in inbound tourism and Rish Plus’s 15+ years of experience in skin care services, the partnership aims to deliver Japan’s unique value proposition to international visitors.
Future Plans
The Rish Plus salon located in Kanayama, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, will be utilized for inbound customers, working in coordination with Japan Holiday Travel’s Nagoya branch office. The collaboration will subsequently expand nationwide.
