Orders for the 800 D5 series in Japan are scheduled to begin in autumn 2026. The official order start date, shipping period, and suggested retail prices will be announced once confirmed.
With the launch of the new series, production of the existing 800 D4 series, including the 801 D4 Signature and 805 D4 Signature, has already ended at the Worthing factory in the UK. While shipments of existing stock to Japan are expected until around autumn this year, some models and finishes are expected to sell out early, so early consideration is recommended.

The new 800 Series Diamond consists of 7 models. The lineup includes the 2-way stand-mount speaker '805 D5', the 3-way floor-standing speakers '804 D5', '803 D5', '802 D5', and the series flagship '801 D5'. For home theater, two high-performance center channel speakers, 'HTM81 D5' and 'HTM82 D5', complete the system.

All finishes for the new series have been refreshed from the previous 800 D4 series. In the 800 D5 series, Satin Rosewood is replaced by 'Dark Walnut', inspired by the limited edition '801 Abbey Road Limited Edition'. Dark metal detailing and Connolly black leather trim harmonize beautifully, presenting a new definition of sophisticated modern luxury. A new 'Stealth Black' finish has also been added. Combined with dark metal detailing, it creates a more cohesive aesthetic across the dark-toned cabinet and various materials. The lineup also includes 'Warm White', evolved from the previous generation's white model. It features a warmer, more modern tone accented with champagne-colored details. The new 'Light Walnut', which also uses champagne-colored metal details and a turbine head assembly painted to match the body color, completes the attractive color range. The DB series subwoofers (in black and white finishes) will also be updated to the new 'Stealth Black' and 'Warm White' finishes to better match the speakers.
