奈良・桜井の静かな山あいに佇む、

真言宗豊山派の総本山・長谷寺。

四季折々の花に彩られることから「花の御寺」とも呼ばれ、

多くの人々の祈りと癒しの場として親しまれています。

本尊・十一面観音像は日本最大級の木造観音として知られ、

古より信仰を集めてきました。

 ・現在、総本山長谷寺が所有する文化財史料についての調査閲覧は原則禁止とさせていただいています。

 ・過去に記載した「冬ぼたん」の表記については、「寒中に咲く牡丹」に記載を訂正いたしました。
