New Hattendo Village Factory Near Hiroshima Airport Scheduled for Completion in June 2027

Hattendo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Mihara City, Hiroshima Prefecture; President and Representative Director: Takamasa Morimitsu) will begin construction of a new factory in June 2026 at 'Hattendo Village', an experiential food theme park located near Hiroshima Airport.

Based on its history of producing Japanese confections, Western-style confections, and bread, the new factory aims to become a high-value-added food manufacturer whose products are continuously chosen as souvenirs and gifts, by expanding its bread and confectionery categories.

To establish an even safer production system, the company also aims to obtain FSSC22000 (Food Safety System Certification). This is planned to strengthen risk management, improve operational efficiency, and accelerate expansion into international markets.

Additionally, by establishing an experience and tour facility, the company will contribute to tourism promotion and regional development around Hiroshima Airport.

Hattendo advocates being a company that develops people through food innovation. Through this project, it aims to provide a new food culture unique to Hattendo and create growth and a wellness-oriented life for those involved.
