Hawaiian Airlines Unveils Airbus A330 Special Livery Aircraft Featuring Hawaiian Language, Spreading Hawaii's Charm to Customers Worldwide

In conjunction with the unveiling of the special livery aircraft, a donation of $10,000 each was made to Iolani Palace and the Polynesian Voyaging Society, organizations dedicated to preserving Hawaiian history and culture.

Hawaiian Airlines today unveiled a special livery aircraft to commemorate its membership in the airline alliance "oneworld." The aircraft features the message "Aloha a puni ka honua (Aloha around the world)" in the Hawaiian language (ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi), expressing the company's desire to deliver Hawaiian culture, language, and the Aloha Spirit to the world.

The wide-body Airbus A330 aircraft unveiled this time continues to feature Pualani, Hawaiian Airlines' symbol, on the tail fin and a lei design on the fuselage. The newly painted words "Aloha a puni ka honua (Aloha around the world)" on the aircraft embody Hawaiian Airlines' mission to deliver Hawaii's unique warm hospitality to more people, alongside the global network expanded by its oneworld membership.

Alisa Onishi, Managing Director of Hawaii Marketing at Hawaiian Airlines, stated:

"This special livery aircraft symbolizes Hawaiian Airlines becoming a member of the oneworld alliance and sharing Aloha, the Hawaiian language, and our deep connection to Hawaii with more people around the world. Language is essential for preserving Hawaiian culture and passing it on to the future. By displaying the Hawaiian language on our aircraft, we pay homage to our traditions and bring the voice of Hawaii to all the cities we serve. We are proud to share Hawaii's culture, values, and the Aloha Spirit with everyone around the globe."

Hawaiian Airlines unveiled the design of the oneworld special livery aircraft at a commemorative event held at the Charles I. Elliott Maintenance and Cargo Facility in Honolulu. In addition, to celebrate the unveiling of the special livery aircraft, a donation of $10,000 each was made to Iolani Palace and the Polynesian Voyaging Society, long-standing partners dedicated to preserving Hawaiian culture and traditions.
