Fujingaho, the lifestyle magazine established in 1905 (published by Hearst Fujingaho, headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Nicolas Floquet), will release its 121st-anniversary special issue (July 2026, featuring a comprehensive guide to Japanese room etiquette) on June 1st (Mon). The cover features Tsubaki Onoe and Kotoiya Onoe, children of Kikunojo Onoe, the head of the Onoe school of Japanese dance, representing the next generation embracing Japanese culture.

The feature "Comprehensive Guide to Japanese Room Etiquette" introduces the manners and wisdom of our predecessors for creating harmony in Japanese-style rooms, which are becoming rarer in modern lifestyles. The issue also includes a feature on Prince Hisahito's present and future, an essay by actress Miki Nakatani on the aesthetics of living in old folk houses, and a "Connected Beauty" feature with former Takarazuka stars. Additionally, it covers the new "Hoshinoya Nara Prison" and a major feature on contemporary artist Hiroshi Sugimoto.

The bonus booklet contains "30 Easy Appetizer Recipes" selected from the popular series "Tomorrow's Home Cooking." The issue is priced at 1,650 yen (tax included) and will be available at major bookstores, online retailers, and ELLE SHOP.
