Helinox to Launch Lightest-Ever Chair "Chair Zero LT" at 494g and "Table Zero LT" at 237g – Total Under 750g, Featuring New GhostGrid™ Material

Helinox Japan is scheduled to launch the backpacking chair "Chair Zero LT" and the table "Table Zero LT".

- Chair Zero LT — The lightest-ever chair, breaking the 500g barrier

The Chair Zero LT weighs 494g, making it the company's first backpacking chair to weigh under 500g. This figure is less than a 500ml plastic bottle, significantly reducing the burden of carrying.

The new GhostGrid™ material has been adopted. While many conventional outdoor materials require chemical coatings to ensure durability, weather resistance, and strength, GhostGrid™ achieves high strength and abrasion resistance without any coating, thanks to its high-strength monofilament ripstop structure. Eliminating the coating process directly leads to weight reduction and a lower environmental footprint.

The frame uses DAC TH72M — Helinox's highest standard 7000 series aluminum alloy. The metal polishing process eliminates chemicals traditionally used and applies green anodizing treatment using recycled aluminum alloy.

The newly designed X-Strap stabilizer ensures high ground contact even on sandy, muddy, or soft ground, preventing sinking and wobbling. When stored, it becomes compact to the size of a plastic bottle, minimizing the space it occupies in a backpack.

- Table Zero LT — 62% lighter than conventional models, a table smaller than a plastic bottle

The Table Zero LT, scheduled for simultaneous release, weighs 237g. This achieves approximately 62% weight reduction compared to the conventional model, Table One. When stored, it fits into a plastic bottle-sized case, making it possible to use a table in situations where one would not have been carried before.
