Lila Inc. will focus on creating 'relational populations' through long-term stays and promoting multifaceted regional revitalization. As its first initiative, the company launched 'Swallow Base' on May 28, a platform connecting digital nomads and other long-term visitors with Japanese regions. The Hibiya Kadan Group has been promoting regional revitalization as a core business, leveraging its expertise in flowers, greenery, and hospitality. By combining Innovation Partners' track record with Hibiya Kadan's business foundation, Lila was established to drive regional revitalization. Swallow Base addresses the challenges of 'transient tourism' and 'labor shortages' by proposing a third way of engaging with regions—neither tourism nor migration. Initial services will launch in the Izu and Ureshino areas, with user acceptance scheduled to begin in September 2026.
