(Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Hiroaki Miyajima), as the lead company of the Yokosuka Area Management Consortium entrusted with the management and operation of 'Nagai Umitate Park Soleil no Oka' (Location: Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture), will host the large-scale summer event 'Buchiage SUMMER! 2026 SOLEIL' from Friday, July 17, 2026, to Sunday, August 30, 2026.

Last year, the event attracted over 180,000 visitors in total and received widespread acclaim as a full-day summer attraction. This year, all event contents have been upgraded to make your day at Soleil no Oka even more exciting, from morning to night.

Nagai Umitate Park Soleil no Oka, a multifunctional theme park in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture, known for its seasonal flowers, will offer a variety of unique summer-only experiences against the backdrop of the rich natural scenery of the Miura Peninsula and the panoramic view of Sagami Bay.

Newly Introduced 'Dinosaur Ride'

During the event period, visitors can enjoy strolling through approximately 100,000 sunflowers, savoring limited-time sunflower-themed gourmet food, experiencing dinosaur-themed attractions that captivate both children and adults, and interacting with rare animals. Additionally, a visitor-participation photo contest will be held, and the operation team’s challenge to grow giant sunflowers promises new discoveries with every visit.

Special limited-day events will also be held to elevate the summer excitement to its peak. On August 15 (Sat) and 16 (Sun), the 'Buchiage Summer Festival★' will begin in the morning with festival stalls and street performances, culminating in a dramatic finale with approximately 500 fireworks lighting up the night sky.

Approximately 100,000 sunflowers, the iconic summer scenery of Soleil no Oka, will bloom again this year. The vast, vibrant yellow flower fields offer a perfect backdrop for creating summer memories and taking photos. Enjoy the stunning scenery created by the contrast between the flowers and the clear blue sky.

③ Fireworks × Summer Festival = Ultimate Fun! 'Buchiage Summer Festival★' to be Held!

A special summer event featuring approximately 500 fireworks lighting up the night sky!

On the event days, festival stalls, street performers, and food trucks will appear from morning, creating a festive atmosphere. This year, the fireworks will be choreographed to songs by SUPER EIGHT, including 'Dandara,' 'Buchi★I GOT IT,' and 'Omoidama.' Families and friends can enjoy a full day of fun from morning to night. The fireworks launch and choreography will be led by Mr. Eiji Abe, a teacher at Shonan Gakuin High School and a licensed fireworks master, known for enlivening Yokosuka with fireworks.
