'Gifumaru' (operated by Hidakara Co., Ltd., based in Hida City, Gifu Prefecture; Representative Director: Kanako Funasaka), an online shop that delivers the essence and passion of Gifu producers, has announced the appointment of Kaori Uwaya (Kao | Secret Feast Deli Recipe), a cooking expert and hunter active in the Hida region, as its official ambassador.

'Gifumaru' was launched in July 2024 to serve as a destination for discovering rare products not previously available online, and as a service to support producers in expanding their sales channels nationwide by minimizing their operational efforts.

Kao, who is based in the Hida region and active in maximizing product appeal through social media and original recipes, has seen her 'Secret Feast Deli Recipes' accumulate over 10 million views. She is widely recognized for her ability to create glamorous, approachable recipes that highlight product charm.

Moving forward, Kao will select products from 'Gifumaru' and introduce them through her official Instagram, proposing new ways to enjoy these items and incorporating them into daily life.
