Hilton Japan, Korea, and Micronesia has joined the globally recognized 'Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program,' providing support at Hilton-operated hotels and regional offices in Japan starting in May 2026. The 'Sunflower Lanyard' used in this program is a global symbol to inform others that a person has a hidden disability or needs support. Hilton is strengthening its inclusive system not only for guests during their stay but also for team members while working. For the introduction, over 80% of team members have completed specialized training. This enables proactive and appropriate support for people with hidden disabilities such as autism or dementia. Staff wearing sunflower pins or lanyards will provide an environment where guests can feel at ease.
