Regarding the Conclusion of a Mutual Cooperation Agreement for Promoting Corporate Health Management with Mishima City

SOMPO Himawari Life Insurance Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Yasuki Kume, hereinafter “the Company”), Sompo Japan Insurance Inc. (President and CEO: Koji Ishikawa, hereinafter “Sompo Japan”), and Sompo Japan Partners Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Yuki Shigesada, hereinafter “Sompo Japan Partners”) are pleased to announce that they concluded a “Mutual Cooperation Agreement for Promoting Corporate Health Management” with Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture (Mayor: Takeshi Toyooka) on March 27, 2026. The purpose of this agreement is to support health management initiatives by businesses within Mishima City and contribute to the development of health promotion in the local community and the creation of a “Healthy and Happy City” (a city where all citizens can feel healthy and happy).

1. Background and Purpose The Company, Sompo Japan, and Sompo Japan Partners, as insurance companies that support the safety, security, and healthy lives of our customers, are promoting initiatives that contribute to the health promotion and development of the local community. This agreement was concluded because we believe that the provision of various services and expertise offered by the SOMPO Group can help solve the challenges related to “health and happiness” initiatives, which Mishima City positions as an important policy.

2. Main Contents of the Agreement We will collaborate on the following items: (1) Matters related to the promotion of health management and support for obtaining certification as an excellent health management corporation (2) Matters related to the prevention of lifestyle diseases and health promotion (3) Matters related to improving the screening rate for cancer screenings, etc. (4) Matters related to women's health promotion (5) Other matters necessary to achieve the purpose of this agreement, in addition to those listed in the preceding items

3. Future Developments The Company will continue to contribute to the health promotion and development of citizens by supporting health management initiatives in cooperation with Mishima City.
