Hinoki Soken Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nakatsugawa, Gifu; President: Mikihiro Oguri), a comprehensive planner of Hinoki bathtubs and bathrooms, will unveil a new wooden bathtub designed by renowned Japanese product designer Motomi Kawakami at Salone del Mobile.Milano in Milan, Italy.

Concept: sa yu - On the purity of HINOKI and clear water Our headquarters factory in Gifu Prefecture is located in the heart of Japan, a region rich in greenery and water, often called the 'Land of Clear Streams.' Against this backdrop, we manufacture Hinoki bathtubs by utilizing traditional local woodworking techniques. Japanese bathing is not just about 'washing the body,' but also about 'healing oneself while respecting nature.' We wish to deliver this message through the keyword 'sa yu,' inspired by the Japanese words for 'white hot water' (sayu) and 'plain wood' (shiraki), representing the deep soaking experience and the use of natural Hinoki wood.
