【Event Overview】

Hirooka, representative of Chiba University-affiliated startup HiSR Co., will explain the forefront of scientific short-term earthquake prediction based on the research results of the university and his own company.

We welcome a wide range of participants, including 'those involved in disaster management at companies and local governments,' 'those interested in AI technology,' 'those interested in geophysics,' and 'the general public interested in earthquake disaster prevention.'

【Event Details】

We hope this will be an opportunity for you to consider, through our research results, how to protect as many lives as possible and minimize economic damage from mega-earthquakes expected to occur in the future, such as the Tokyo Inland Earthquake and the Nankai Trough Earthquake. Approximately 20,000 precious lives were lost in the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, but the Cabinet Office estimates approximately 300,000 lives for the upcoming Nankai Trough Earthquake. Our efforts have the potential to significantly reduce such severe damage. First, we would be grateful if you could take this opportunity to learn about the research at Chiba University and our company. We will also introduce our equity crowdfunding efforts for the development of a new earthquake prediction AI system.
