Panasonic Corporation's Air Quality & Air Conditioning Company and Cold Chain Solutions Company, both under the Panasonic Corporation Air Quality & Food Distribution Group, integrated and reorganized on April 1, 2026, in conjunction with a Panasonic Group structural change, to establish a new company, "Panasonic HVAC & CC Co., Ltd." (Representative Director, President and Executive Officer: Eiichi Katayama; hereinafter, Panasonic).
Panasonic HVAC & CC Co., Ltd. will operate its business as a single group with Panasonic HVAC & CC Systems Co., Ltd., Panasonic Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd., and Hussmann Corporation in the United States, with approximately 30,000 employees globally. The business scope broadly covers the areas of air, water, and food. In addition to the air quality and air conditioning business, which includes residential air conditioners, commercial air conditioning equipment, ventilation fans, air purifiers, heat pump water heaters, and air-to-water (A2W) heating and hot water supply systems, it will also be responsible for the cold chain business, which involves refrigeration and freezer showcases and kitchen equipment related to food.
Furthermore, in conjunction with the establishment of the new company, Panasonic has formulated the brand slogan "Air, Water, Food. Supporting with Technology, Connecting to the Future." We will provide unique products and services, leveraging over 100 years of accumulated technology and on-site capabilities, to ensure that the infrastructure essential for daily life—"air, water, and food"—remains uninterrupted.
Panasonic aims to be the "No. 1 in Customer Resolution" company, understanding customer challenges and proposing optimal solutions from three perspectives: economy, environment, and safety.
