Panasonic Corporation will release the 'MS-N25' in late June 2026, a compact home food waste processor that reduces food waste volume by approximately 90% using a 'drying + grinding' system while suppressing characteristic odors.

Panasonic research indicates high levels of concern regarding the odor and hygiene of food waste, with strong demand for effective odor measures and hygienic, dry disposal methods. By simultaneously drying and grinding, this product efficiently removes moisture, reducing volume by about 90%. After processing, the waste is in a dry state suitable for use as fertilizer for home gardening.

Additionally, the unit adopts an odor-removal structure featuring heating at approximately 130°C and an activated carbon filter to significantly reduce odor generation. The main unit is compact, measuring approximately 23cm in width and depth, making it easy to place in a kitchen. It has a processing capacity of up to approximately 700g per use, and the lid features a one-push open/close mechanism for improved usability.
