Panasonic Participates in Asahi Town's 'Air Festival' for the 3rd Consecutive Year

Panasonic HVAC & CC Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Panasonic") will exhibit at the "Air Festival" to be held in Asahi Town, Yamagata Prefecture, on June 6 (Sat) and 7 (Sun), 2026. The Air Festival is held at the "Air Shrine," an environmental monument in Asahi Town and the only one in the world dedicated to air, in alignment with "Air Day."

On the day, following the 2025 event, Panasonic will collaborate with Kawakami Sangyo Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Kawakami Sangyo"), manufacturer of the bubble wrap "Puchipuchi®," to conduct an original wind turbine workshop using Puchipuchi® and exhibit various Panasonic air-related products.

Panasonic provided donations in 1990 when the Air Shrine was established and began collaboration in November 2022. It has been participating in the Air Festival since 2024, supporting efforts to make the Air Shrine a symbol of an "environmental town" through product provisions.

During the festival, visitors will create original wind turbines using Kawakami Sangyo's Puchipuchi® and experience the air of Yamagata Prefecture, which is considered one of the cleanest in Japan. Additionally, Panasonic plans to display air-related products such as the "Ziaino" hypochlorous acid space sterilization and deodorizing machine, which is installed in the main hall of the Air Shrine, as well as air conditioners, electric fans, and air purifiers.

Panasonic will continue to engage in various initiatives to protect clean air and nature, and pass on their value to the next generation.
