Panasonic Connect Group will launch the 'FPX107CG/FP,' a new driver mounting machine for mid-sized Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) panel manufacturing, in June 2026. In the display market, the adoption of OLED is gradually increasing in mid-sized fields such as IT equipment (notebooks, tablets) and automotive applications, and this trend is expected to continue. Consequently, panel manufacturers are expanding capital investment for mid-sized OLED panels. In the driver mounting process for OLED panels, ensuring mounting precision is difficult because materials with higher thermal expansion coefficients are used compared to LCDs. Panasonic Connect Group developed this product to address these market trends and changing needs. The product features evolved high-precision mounting technology and a facility configuration that allows for optimal mass production line proposals tailored to each customer's production conditions. Key features include support for panel sizes from 7 to 26 inches, compatibility with four mounting types (COG/FOG/FOP/COP), and support for both forward and reverse flow, enabling efficient factory operations with paired lines.
