Musical 'Mary Poppins' Releases Official 2026 Promo Video; Osaka Run Continues Until June 6

The musical 'Mary Poppins,' beloved by families and theater fans worldwide, has released its official 2026 promotion video. The magical production, featuring Mary flying through the air, is currently being staged at the Umeda Arts Theater Main Hall in Osaka until Saturday, June 6.

Based on P.L. Travers' stories and Walt Disney's classic film, this production is a collaboration between Cameron Mackintosh and Disney. It features stunning sets, unforgettable songs, and breathtaking dance numbers.

Marking its third run in Japan, the production reached its 200th performance on April 2 and its 250th on May 6. After a sold-out Tokyo engagement, the Osaka run opened on May 21. Audience members have praised it as the pinnacle of Japanese stage art.

For the Osaka run, same-day tickets are available starting at 10:00 AM at the theater's 1st-floor ticket counter (cash only). Additionally, a special behind-the-scenes program is currently streaming for free on TVer.
