It has been announced that a new stage production titled 'Electra', directed by Tamiya Kuriyama, will premiere in December 2026. This play will be presented as part of the opening series at the Tokyo Tatemono Brillia HALL. The lead role will be played by Rio Asumi, a former top star of the Takarazuka Revue's Flower Troupe, with acclaimed actress Midori Kimura co-starring. Based on the classical Greek tragedy 'Electra', the production promises an entirely new dramatic space where intense human drama, music, and epic language intersect. Furthermore, a tour is planned for January 2027. Ticket sales are scheduled to begin this summer. Director Tamiya Kuriyama stated his intention to reflect modern society through the mirror of this ancient tragedy, focusing on the eternal themes of 'war' and 'family'.
