Overview Karuizawa's Hoshino Onsen Tombo-no-yu, a day-use hot spring facility, will host the 'Tombo Foot Bath' from July 1 to September 6, 2026. The foot bath, located next to the main facility, uses continuous 13°C spring water drawn from the national 'Wild Bird Forest.' This year, the foot bath tub has been refreshed with cypress wood for a more immersive natural experience. After cooling off, visitors can enjoy 'Forest Soda' at the adjacent Cafe Hungry Spot.

Feature 1: Foot Bath Renovation The foot bath located on the 'Larch Hill' next to Tombo-no-yu has been renovated. It is now approximately 6 meters long and can accommodate up to 18 people. Made with cypress wood, it offers a refreshing scent and calming water sounds, allowing guests to experience '1/f fluctuations' through their senses.

Feature 2: Natural Spring Water The water used is natural spring water from the Wild Bird Forest, filtered through geological layers. It remains at approximately 13°C year-round, which is an ideal temperature to stimulate skin cold sensors for a refreshing sensation without extreme cold.

Feature 3: Forest Soda The nearby Cafe Hungry Spot will sell 'Forest Soda,' a non-alcoholic cocktail made with distilled water extracted from five types of trees (larch, red pine, fir, aburachan, and cypress), offering a refreshing forest aroma with carbonation.
