And Do Holdings' subsidiary, Financial Do, in partnership with Tama Shinkin Bank, has expanded its reverse mortgage guarantee business to include business funds, effective April 1, 2026.

Financial Do Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kyoto, Kyoto Prefecture; President: Kazuaki Tomita; hereinafter: Financial Do), a consolidated subsidiary of And Do Holdings Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Chairman & CEO: Masahiro Ando; hereinafter: the Company), which operates a nationwide real estate business under the HouseDo brand, has commenced handling real estate collateral valuation and debt guarantees for business funds in the "Tamashin Reverse Mortgage Loan" (hereinafter: the Product), in partnership with Tama Shinkin Bank (Headquarters: Tachikawa, Tokyo; Chairman: Masahiko Kanai; hereinafter: the Bank), effective April 1, 2026.

In our aging nation, "reverse mortgages" are attracting attention as one measure against the concern of increasing necessary retirement funds in the future.

For households without children, or where children are independent and live far away and do not intend to return to their hometown, leaving a house as inherited property, reverse mortgages allow them to continue living in their home while obtaining funds. These funds can be used for hobbies, travel, car purchases, medical and nursing care expenses, making it an effective means of financing to enrich one's later years. It is also featured in the new "Basic Plan for Housing and Living (National Plan)" that the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism is reviewing.

Since November 2023, the Bank has been handling the Product, for which the Company and Financial Do provide real estate collateral valuation and debt guarantees, responding to new financial needs of the elderly. Amidst this, the Bank received numerous requests for business funds from sole proprietors and corporate managers, not just for living expenses in retirement. As a regional financial institution committed to facilitating regional finance and solving/improving customers' management challenges, the Bank decided to commence handling business funds.

Moving forward, our group will continue to collaborate with many financial institutions, responding to the diverse needs of seniors through our reverse mortgage guarantee business, and contributing to the revitalization of the Japanese economy by providing new options for real estate utilization.
