Hot Spring Inn 'Kissho CAREN' in Higashi-Izu to Offer Summer-Limited Services from July to August 2026

Kissho CAREN, a hot spring inn located in Hokkawa Onsen, Higashi-Izu Town, Shizuoka Prefecture (General Manager: Naohiro Nakata), has announced that it will offer summer-limited complimentary services for guests staying between July 1 and August 31, 2026.

The main details of the summer services are as follows:

1. Freshly Baked Crepes at Afternoon Tea Time: 14:00–15:30 Location: Teppanyaki Restaurant "Aotake" Chefs will prepare authentic crepes on the iron griddle. The crepes are served with a special sauce made from locally sourced New Summer Orange and soft-serve ice cream.

2. Shizuoka Tuna Sushi Two pieces of Shizuoka-grown tuna sushi will be served to guests during dinner at each restaurant.

3. "Furin (Wind Chime) Terrace" Drink Service Time: 15:00–17:00 Location: Furin Terrace (Courtyard) A special outdoor space decorated with wind chimes will offer seasonal drinks. Menu: - Banana frozen cocktail (Alcoholic) - Passion fruit frozen cocktail (Non-alcoholic) - Sparkling wine (Red and White) - Mixed fruit juice - Wild peach juice

4. Fireworks in Yukata Time: 20:30–21:30 Location: Furin Terrace (Courtyard) Guests can enjoy playing with fireworks in the evening while wearing traditional yukata robes.

During this period, the inn is offering a standard summer package plan starting from 29,000 yen per person (based on 3 guests sharing one room, including tax and service charges, excluding the 300 yen hot spring tax). The dinner options include French-style Kaiseki or Teppanyaki. The French Kaiseki menu features local fish sashimi, steamed red sea bream (Kinmedai) in wine, sautéed spiny lobster, and grilled Japanese black wagyu beef ribeye.
