HYBE Unveils New 'DARK MOON' Series 'Children of Vamfield' in Collaboration with &TEAM

HYBE has announced that 'Children of Vamfield,' the newest addition to the HYBE Original Story 'DARK MOON' series, will begin its multi-format rollout on May 18, 2026. This project is a collaboration with the global group &TEAM.

### Expansion Through Transmedia Strategy As a new initiative, the project employs 'Transmedia Storytelling' to multidimensionally expand the work's world across four formats: web novels, video content, music (MVs), and artwork.

- **Web Novel**: Plays the central role in the overall story. The full series will be released simultaneously on platforms including NAVER SERIES, LINE Manga, and Comic Seymour on May 20 at 6 PM. - **Video Content**: Comprising seven episodes, the first will premiere on the official YouTube channel on May 18 at 8 PM, focusing on character growth. - **Visual Artwork**: Known as 'Bloodprints,' these will be released weekly on the official X account starting May 22, linked to the video content. - **Music**: Integrated with &TEAM's 3rd EP 'We on Fire,' featuring music videos and concept photos that embody the story's mythological world.

### Story and Setting This is the first work in the series to focus exclusively on werewolves. Set in the suburban town of 'Yelasa' in the 2010s, it follows a romance fantasy of werewolf boys overcoming their inherited destinies. Chronologically, it serves as a prequel to 'The Altar of Moon' and a sequel to 'The Grey City.'

### Integration of AI Technology AI technology was utilized in some stages of the video production to ensure stability and flexibility. However, core elements such as planning, directing, and illustration were entirely handled by humans, ensuring a blend of technology and creativity.
