GM Comment - Keikyu Otoshi We are pleased to report that we have agreed to a two-year player contract (with a player option) with Hirotaka Yoshii, starting from the 2026-27 season.

First and foremost, as GM, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Yoshii-san for empathizing with the vision we are pursuing amidst numerous options and intense competition, and for deciding to take on a new challenge in Ibaraki.

As proven by his national team experience, Yoshii-san is one of the league's premier all-rounders, possessing both a strong physique and exceptional basketball IQ. His tenacious defense, which does not back down even against foreign players, and his willingness to embrace gritty roles for the team's victory, are precisely the pieces that the new Ibaraki Robots need to build a "winning culture."
